Adaptive Cycling & Bike Education Fundraising Dinner (Hilyard Community Center). Whether you’re camping at the Staycation, riding a century, or celebrating at the Bike Celebration the next day this is a great opportunity to “fuel up” AND support Eugene’s Adaptive Recreation Program, which provides cycling opportunities for people with disabilities. Join this fundraising dinner for only $5 on Saturday from 5-7 pm.
Shakespeare in the Park: Cymbeline. Opening Night! Starts at 6:00pm, south lawn at Amazon Community Park. Bring a blanket, grab dinner at the fundraising dinner (or bring-your-own) and enjoy theatre in the park. Celebrating their 13th year, Free Shakespeare in the Park presents the romantic fairy tale of William Shakespeare’s Cymbeline, Directed by Emily J. Payne & featuring a multi-talented cast and crew from throughout Lane County. Shows run Saturdays & Sundays through August 27th & 28th and performances are FREE.

Blackberry bRamble Rides: Whether you’re a road cyclist in top form, a weekend recreational rider, or a parent pulling two kids in a trailer, Eugene’s Blackberry bRamble is the ride for you. The Blackberry bRamble has long been known for its scenic route, extraordinary rest stops, reliable support and free blackberry pie and ice cream at the finish. REGISTER HERE for the the 100-mile Century, the 62-mile Metric Century, the 39-mile SubCentury. Registration is $29 for early registrants and $40 for day-of-event registrants for each of these rides. Registration will be limited to the first 500 riders. The Community Ride (12 miles) cost is $5 for an individual and $10 for a family up to four. bRamble Community Ride Route:
Exploring the back roads, neighborhoods, and paths of the greater Eugene area. This years ride heads into Springfield and travels along some beautiful and interesting multi-use paths including the well known (River Path and Canoe Canal) as well as the not so well known (By-Gully Bike Path). The Community Ride begins at 11:00 am, get there early to register. Free ice cream and blackberry pie at the end of the ride and FREE entry into Amazon Pool!

Blackberry bRamble Bike Celebration: with an amped-up bike-powered stage filled with music and entertainment, local vendors, community booths, bike competitions, a bike rodeo, tricycle races for the kids, great food, a beer garden, and much more it’s the human powered party not to miss this summer. The party starts at Noon and goes till 5 p.m. Everyone who bikes to the park gets into Amazon Pool for only $1!
